This is how much new stadium would cost West Ham as London Stadium exit saga rumbles on
West Ham fans are desperate to leave the London Stadium.
The Hammers have had a terrible start to the season in home matches with West Ham falling to defeat against Tottenham, Chelsea and Crystal Palace so far.
These performances have added fuel to the fire for West Ham protests against David Sullivan and Karren Brady in East London.
The London Stadium has become a physical representation of the Irons’ failures in recent years and played a key role in the supporters’ vote of no confidence against the West Ham board.
The claret and blue faithful are dreaming of a move away from the Olympic Park and have now learned how much it could cost to do so.

West Ham could face £750m+ bill for new stadium
Stuart Pearce may be unsold on a London Stadium exit, but fans have reached the end of their tether with the soulless bowl.
There is little reason to be positive about the ground except for the financial aspect that prevents the Irons from spending on certain elements.
Supporters are eager to move into a new arena they can call their own, similar to the Boleyn Ground.
Finance expert Dan Plumley has been left unsure about the construction of a new stadium due to the financial challenges Everton and Tottenham have faced in recent years.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Plumley said: “It’s probably the only real option on the table if they’re going to move away from that stadium. It’s tough to do stuff with that stadium, isn’t it?
“We’ve said that time and time again, it’s really tough to do anything with it because it is what it is. They got a hugely beneficial financial deal on that stadium; it’s cost them nothing in the grand scheme of football stadiums.
“If they are thinking of getting out of there, what do you do? You’re probably looking at building a new stadium, and ultimately, they don’t come cheap.
“If you look at the most recent ones, Everton’s cost £750m-plus, Tottenham’s was £1billion. There will be a London premium depending on location, and you’ve got to find the space, which won’t be easy in London.

“It has long-term rewards, but it’s a large amount of outlay. There’s work to do on the pitch for sure, and if they want to do work off the pitch with a new stadium, it’s going to come at a huge cost.“
London Stadium move wouldn’t benefit West Ham
Supporters may want their matchday experience to improve because of the poor atmosphere at the London Stadium.
The Hammers have become a point of ridicule as the Olympic Stadium is a far cry from the tight pitch and intimidating nature of Upton Park.
That will be near impossible to replicate, even if a new ground is built, due to the hospitality-based design that modern stadia tend to have.
Any new ground could ultimately frustrate match-goers just as much, but it could also cause financial woes for Sullivan and Co. moving forward.
