Roshane Thomas Q&A: Which strikers will West Ham target in the summer? – Exclusive
West Ham Zone conducted an exclusive interview with The Athletic journalist Roshane Thomas, getting his views on the biggest talking points at the London Stadium…

Roshane Thomas believes that West Ham may once again launch a move for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri in the summer.
The Irons failed with numerous January bids for the Moroccan international, with their final offer standing at £25.8million with add-ons included.
Thomas has poured cold water on the possibility of Adam Armstrong or Ivan Toney making the switch to the London Stadium, although there is definite interest in the Brentford talisman.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Thomas said, “A player they’ve definitely been interested in is Ivan Toney.
“I’ve seen Adam Armstrong being linked, but the thing with him is he’s scored something like 19 goals, but Toney has scored nearly 30 goals so far.
“In terms of a goalscorer, they’re looking at Toney – the question is though, can they do it in the Premier League?
“West Ham will prioritise players in Europe, I think. I believe they may go back in for Youssef En-Nesyri again.
“If they finish in the top four, they will have a bit more money and could definitely go in for him again; a young striker, one of the top scorers in La Liga, that is the type of player they like.”
En-Nesyri was the clear target back in January for the Irons.
After seeing numerous bids rejected for the 23-year-old, it left David Moyes with no clear replacement or competition for Michail Antonio.
The Sevilla striker has already scored 15 goals this season in La Liga and has a bigger goal contribution to his side than Lionel Messi does for Barcelona [WhoScored].
Toney and Armstrong would be similar prices to En-Nesyri, who has added vital European experience to his game in recent years, something which could benefit the Irons next season.
