Lucas Paqueta faces extended West Ham ban after what was spotted vs Liverpool
Lucas Paqueta could be facing further punishment as a result of his red card in West Ham’s loss against Liverpool.
With West Ham 1-0 down, Paqueta was shown a red card after being penalised for a foul in the 84th minute, picking up two yellow cards in quick succession for protesting the decision.
Paqueta was incensed with referee Darren England, and the 28-year-old had to be held back by teammates after being issued the red card.
Now, former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett has exclusively told West Ham Zone that the Brazilian could face an additional ban for his actions.

Lucas Paqueta could be given further ban
Paqueta was suspended for West Ham’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth last weekend, and he returned to the starting lineup with a point to prove.
However, he completely lost his head at the London Stadium, and his guaranteed one-match ban could be extended, according to Hackett.
He said: “At the start of the season, emphasis was placed on the arrangement whereby ‘Captains Only’ would be the communication conduit between the team and the referee.
“This player displayed a lack of self-control, and his continued verbal dissent left the referee with little option other than to issue two yellow cards and dismiss the player.
“His sarcastic clapping of the referee’s action should result in an additional match-day suspension.”
It’s not the first time that Paqueta has let his emotions get the better of him, and Sunday’s example was the most embarrassing yet.
Lucas Paqueta has terrible disciplinary record for West Ham
Despite the fact that it’s his first dismissal for the Hammers, it’s a pretty appalling way to get it.
Paqueta’s passion for football sometimes lands him in trouble with officials, and England acted on his frustration with conviction.
For a creative midfielder, he boasts awful numbers when it comes to getting on the wrong side of the referees.

Speaking on commentary during the match, Rob Green said: “He has a history of losing his head at times. It’s an absolutely ridiculous situation West Ham now find themselves in.”
Nuno Espirito Santo will be furious with the 28-year-old, who is now unavailable for the trip to Man United on Thursday, and could potentially miss more action.
