Jose Mourinho could be in London right now as West Ham line up appointment
West Ham could soon make a swoop to hire Jose Mourinho as manager.
The Hammers have had a difficult start to the campaign, something which has seen pressure build on Graham Potter as West Ham boss.
This has recently been eased after West Ham secured a 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest in a shock result against the Europa League outfit.
With that being said, David Sullivan and Co. could still make the move to appoint Mourinho at West Ham after being sacked by Fenerbahce ahead of the new campaign.
This could see Potter be moved on in favour of Mourinho, who could be primed and waiting for a role in the dugout at the London Stadium.

This story includes exclusive comment from ex-manager Martin Allen.
Jose Mourinho could now land West Ham job
There is no getting away from the fact that the Portuguese boss would reprsent a huge coup for the Irons, even at this stage of his career.

It appears that Mourinho is keen on landing the West Ham job, something which could only damage Potter’s job prospects further.
This will be especially the case if the former Real Madrid manager is waiting in the capital to take up a role in East London at some point this campaign.
Former Hammers midfielder Allen believes that a move to E20 would be of interest to Mourinho, especially with him already living in London.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “It is the sort of job that he would want.
“He’s still got his house in London and still basically lives in London, so he may now see a possibility to come back and manage a Premier League club in London.
“Would a move to West Ham excite him?
“With the fact that they’re going to be near the bottom of the league, that could stimulate him to climb up the table and rebuild the team.
“I’m sure if he wanted to come back to the Premier League, then West Ham would be interested.“

Jose Mourinho ready to take up West Ham job
It can only be seen as a positive thing for the Irons that such an elite manager is seemingly in the pipeline should Potter’s struggles continue.
There is no doubt that the Englishman has failed to truly improve the Irons, but against Forest, things were certainly much better.
Whether the secure future of Lucas Paqueta and the addition of Mateus Fernandes have made all the difference for the claret and blue outfit is yet to be seen, despite a positive start.
If that isn’t to be the case, Mourinho is seemingly ready and waiting at home in London, ready to take up the role.
