Frank McAvennie predicts West Ham v Everton scoreline
We’re delighted to welcome former West Ham United striker Frank McAvennie as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the London Stadium…
Frank McAvennie predicts West Ham to draw 1-1 with Everton in Sunday’s Premier League clash at Goodison Park.
Three points separate the sides heading into today’s fixture with David Moyes’ men able to climb above the hosts into sixth place with a win on Merseyside.
However, ex-Irons hero McAvennie backs the duo to share the spoils.

“I’ve got a feeling there will be a wee upstart because of the Brentford defeat, they won’t have liked that,” McAvennie told West Ham Zone.
“I’m going to go for a draw, one each. I’ve got a wee feeling for a West Ham win but I’m going to go for a draw.”

Irons primed to strike back
Two weeks have passed since West Ham’s 2-1 loss to Brentford, a result that is sure to have wrangled with Moyes.
The Irons were below their best in East London that day, but a strong showing here would help to relinquish their demons.
They should be helped by the return to fitness of star striker Michail Antonio, who withdrew from international duty with Jamaica last week due to an injury issue.
Everton, meanwhile, are likely to be without key frontmen Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison, while there are doubts over whether Lucas Digne and Seamus Coleman will start the game following their own fitness issues.
In other West Ham news, Gary Lineker has issued an ‘exciting’ claim on this Irons player after a development this week.
