Exclusive: Tammy Abraham on West Ham shopping list after transfer news
Tammy Abraham could prove to be the perfect signing for West Ham in the summer.
The Hammers are in need of a striker, looking ahead to the transfer window as Evan Ferguson continues to struggle in claret and blue.
There will be a decision to be made during the summer as the Irons will be keen to avoid similar failings of the season ahead of this campaign.
That could result in Abraham coming in after his loan spell comes to an end at AC Milan, and the Englishman returns to Roma.

Abraham named ‘dream signing’ at West Ham
The former Aston Villa loanee has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium with contact made to his entourage in recent weeks [Caught Offside].
With that being said, the 27-year-old could eventually complete a return to the Premier League with the Irons and will be hoping to make a positive impact.
This season, Ferguson and Niclas Fullkrug have struggled to find their feet in E20, and as a result, a new forward is likely to be on the shopping list.
This is the belief of former Hammers midfielder Martin Allen who has named Abraham as his dream signing under Potter for the summer.
“A dream signing at West Ham would be a centre forward,” Allen told West Ham Zone.
“I think they’d be looking at Tammy Abraham. He’s English, London-born, and I think they’d be looking at Graham Potter’s team and the way he plays as someone to lead the line.
“I think he would be a good asset for West Ham if they were able to sign him.
“If I had a shopping list and I was Potter, I would be going for Tammy Abraham right now.“

Abraham could have telling impact at West Ham
The Hammers have to get their next striker signing right after years of failed signings in the number nine position.
Although Jarrod Bowen has filled in well as a makeshift forward, a recognised striker with a goalscoring pedigree is certainly needed at the London Stadium.
Abraham could prove to be that man with his ability to play well with the ball at his feet or while holding the ball up for his teammates.
Years | Team | Games played | Goal involvements |
2024-25 | AC Milan | 36 | 13 |
2021-24 | Roma | 120 | 48 |
2019-2021 | Chelsea | 79 | 38 |

2017-18 | Swansea City | 39 | 12 |
2016-17 | Bristol City | 48 | 29 |
With the likes of Bowen and Mohammed Kudus surrounding him, Potter could find the perfect attacking combination with the Roma man’s addition.
