Doctor issues West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen injury claim amid Chelsea links
Chelse and other interested clubs will undoubtedly be assessing the fitness record of West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen amid his injuries this season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the knee and back setbacks along with a hip concern he’s suffered this season could play a factor in any club deciding whether or not they want to shell out money to secure his services.
This comes after news emerged that Chelsea are keen on securing the services of the England international.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said:
“His injuries certainly play a part, especially for big clubs who have players constantly playing in matches, domestic and international.
“Part of the equation may also be if that club looks at him as a cover or as a starter.
“For the injuries he’s had, he’s still been a top performer this season in the Premier League so it depends on the trade-offs clubs are looking to make but yes, his fitness record will definitely be assessed carefully.“
West Ham will want to retain Jarrod Bowen’s services
The 27-year-old has been exceptional for the Hammers, scoring 16 goals and providing six assists in 34 league games.
He has been linked to Liverpool in the past as well and now Chelsea’s interest has emerged.

At both clubs, he will not have the team built around him which he would at the London Stadium so that could factor into his decision this summer.
In other West Ham news, the wife of a Hammers player has potentially stirred up a controversy with her recent comments on social media accusing the club of bias.
