Dan Bardell shares Jarrod Bowen verdict ahead of West Ham showdown v Chelsea
Dan Bardell has picked out Jarrod Bowen as the key player for West Ham ahead of the Chelsea clash on Saturday 21 September.
The Hammers will be keen to get back to winning ways as they welcome Enzo Maresca’s side to the London Stadium.
Last time out it was Danny Ings to the rescue as the striker secured a point in the 95th minute against Fulham (14 September)
This time around, Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist Bardell believes the Irons’ skipper will be the difference maker against the Blues.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Bardell said: “It’s always Jarrod Bowen for me at West Ham.
“Wherever he plays he’s so lively and you always feel like he’s going to make something happen. They have got plenty of attacking talent who can get at Chelsea.
“I just feel like if West Ham are going to get a goal Bowen will be involved somehow so I’d pick him out for the Chelsea game.“
Jarrod Bowen backed to be key for West Ham against Chelsea
The Hammers captain is always lively and supporters feel as if there is a chance he could score every time he steps on the pitch.
Bowen already has one goal and one assist in the Premier League this season [FotMob] in a positive start under Julen Lopetegui in East London.
The England international will be keen to keep up a good run of form moving into a London derby against the Blues this weekend.

This would help turn an up-and-down start to the campaign under the Spaniard into a positive one for the Irons and take the bragging rights against Maresca’s men.
