Carlos Soler medical claim shared as West Ham United eye new transfer

PSG midfielder Carlos Soler should have no issues clearing his medical at West Ham, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that while the 27-year-old did not play as many minutes as he would’ve liked, there should be no risk of him having issues with the pre-transfer checks.

It’s understood that the Hammers are in pole position to secure the Spain international’s services with Tim Steidten pushing hard to get the deal over the line. [Fabrizio Romano]

Speaking exclusively with West Ham ZoneBrar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said:

Generally, for someone who’s not played in the Premier League before, I would look at the player’s level of physicality, style of play, and adapting to a new environment.

It’s really important to understand all factors that may impact a player’s adaptation to the league, including mental and physical.

He’s obviously got a great fitness record last season and that no doubt is an indicator of how seriously he takes his lifestyle outside the training pitch as well.

Last season, while game time was erratic, he should have no issues clearing his medical.

Carlos Soler would be a good stylistic fit at West Ham

Soler is known for his versatility in midfield, capable of playing as a central, attacking or wide midfielder.

His style combines technical skills with a strong tactical awareness, making him adept at both creating and scoring goals.

For the Hammers, the 27-year-old could add creativity, enhance possession play in Julen Lopetegui’s system and provide a dynamic link between midfield and attack, making the side more fluid in possession.
