West Ham United predicted XI v Manchester City - David Moyes to axe Said Benrahma

David Moyes will be hoping that West Ham continue their unbeaten run after the game against Manchester City at the London Stadium this weekend.

On Saturday, 16 September, the top two sides in the Premier League will square off in a 3pm clash.

Both sides go into the game with zero losses to their name while City are the only side with a perfect win record in the Premier League this season.

Given the start the Hammers have enjoyed this season, it’s hard to pinpoint any changes for this game.

However, knowing Moyes, he will look to make changes to deal with the threat posed by the defending champions.

New signing Mohammed Kudus wasn’t signed on the cheap and he will perhaps look to come in for Said Benrahma.

The Algerian, who cost the Hammers £25million [Evening Standard] in 2021, has been a hit-and-miss player for the club.

Kudus coming in for him could see Jarrod Bowen moving to the left flank as well and during the game, the Ghanaian may even interchange wings with the Englishman.

Another change that Moyes could make is to remove Emerson, who signed for £13million [Athletic, 2022] and bring in Aaron Cresswell.

The English left-back will offer more stability in defence as West Ham are going to spend over 70% of the game without the ball.

In case they’re chasing the game in the second half, the Italian can always be brought on.

In other West Ham news, an ultimate transfer decision has been made by the Hammers on Jesse Lingard amid a recent development.
