West Ham have to make a move for Alexis Sanchez
West Ham are said to have looked into the signing of Alexis Sanchez, and we believe that he would be a brilliant signing for the Irons on a short-term deal [tuttomercatoweb].
The 32-year-old Chilean tore it up at Arsenal for a long time before struggling when he swapped The Emirates Stadium for Old Trafford.
He is now at Inter Milan and is, once again, struggling for game time, making only four appearances this season in which he has played just 70 minutes, with a January exit looking likely according to tuttomercatoweb.
However, there is no getting away from it that Sanchez is a quality player who would certainly improve this West Ham side, even just for a short period of time.
He has bags of Premier League experience and could prove a useful addition on the training ground as well as on the pitch.
Now, the problem with Sanchez is that he is probably on huge wages, and he would have to reduce those wage demands considerably to make this a worthwhile signing [Sun].
However, in the past, he has been described as “deadly” by journalist David Hytner and could become a nice little addition as the Irons push on in the second half of the season [Guardian].
Now, some of our Super Fans aren’t convinced, but if we look at how David Moyes energised Jesse Lingard, we can see him doing the same to Sanchez [West Ham Zone].
Ultimately, the Chilean must know that he doesn’t have too many more opportunities left in Europe, and a move to the London Stadium could be exactly what he needs to prove to everyone just how good he is still is.
In other West Ham news, the club are set for a major London Stadium boost this month.
