West Ham could sign Odsonne Edouard this summer
West Ham are in desperate need to sign a striker this summer and could very well turn to Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard to solve their woes.
According to Eurosport, the 23-year-old has been looking for a move away from Celtic Park all summer and his only two options currently appear to be Crystal Palace and West Ham.
With only a year left on his deal at Celtic, the Scottish giants will allow him to leave this summer if a bid that meets their valuation is tabled rather than losing him on a free next summer.

Valued at £15.3million by Transfermarkt, Edouard could be the ideal signing for us and David Moyes would undoubtedly love having a player of his calibre in the side.
He’s bagged 85 goals in 176 appearances for the Scottish side, but is unlikely to realise his potential and get himself on the radar of top sides playing there so a move to West Ham could be seen as the right step in his career.
If we get him for anything under £15million, it will be an absolute steal as he’s only 23 so will have a high resale value if any big team approaches us and he wants to join them.
Michail Antonio may have started the season on fire with a splendid display against Newcastle, but his injury record has proven that we cannot trust him to stay fit for the entirety of the campaign.

Edouard also has the seal of approval of former Hammers striker Frank McAvennie who stated that the Frenchman is a player who “likes the spectacular” [The Scotsman].
With over a week to go before the window shuts, we’ve got to conduct our business quickly or risk another season of mediocrity which could have dire consequences and throw cold water on all the progress we’ve made over the last 12-18 months.
