
West Ham could be about to sign Evan Ferguson amid Graham Potter development
West Ham look set to appoint Graham Potter and it could provide them with the perfect bargaining chip in their race to sign Evan Ferguson.
Changes appear imminent at West Ham with Julen Lopetegui set to be sacked with Potter reaching an agreement to become their new manager [Jacob Steinberg].
His appointment could provide the Hammers with a significant boost in a bid to sign Brighton forward Ferguson [Alex Crook] given his previous experience managing the Irishman.
The Irons are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements this January and this could open the door to a potential game-changing signing with the Irishman lauded as “magnificent” [BBC Sport].
Evan Ferguson to sign for West Ham?
Ferguson certainly made a name for himself when Potter was at Brighton and his links to the forward could be the deciding factor when the Irishman decides on his next move.
It would be a welcome boost for the Irons who are in dire need of forward additions given the lack of form of Niclas Fullkrug who could depart the club himself [Di Marzio].

If the Hammers can complete his signing, it would provide them with a physical striker who has showcased his ability to score goals in the Premier League when faith is instilled in him and Potter could be the man to do that.
Whether West Ham opt to make a move for the forward remains to be seen but it could certainly be an interesting one to keep an eye on once Potter is confirmed at the London Stadium.
