With the Premier League returning in less than two weeks, West Ham United and their rivals will be putting their squads through their paces.
The Irons are set to welcome Wolves to the London Stadium in the opening weekend, and there have been reports that could worry fans.
Claret and Hugh have suggested that Angelo Ogbonna and Arron Cresswell aren’t at the peak of their fitness, and are struggling with injuries.
West Ham have put a slideshow of pictures on their official club website on Thursday of the Irons squad hard at work in training.
It was made clear that the squad have been social distancing when possible, and players such as Declan Rice looked as happy as ever.
The good news from these photos is both Ogbonna and Cresswell within the squad in full training and looking ready for action.
Either way, if the likes of Cresswell aren’t fully fit, he is definitely closing in on that – much to the delight of the fans.
If Cresswell wasn’t fit, Arthur Masuaku will be given the opportunity to cement his place in the Hammers’ back-four, although it has been the Englishman who has been favoured since Moyes arrived.
It’s no surprise either, the 30-year-old has been a standout performer in East London this season – even chipping in with three important strikes.
We expect Cresswell to start against Wolves, depending on no further setbacks, leaving Masuaku to continue off the bench if needed.
