View: Big Mark Noble call in two changes - West Ham United predicted XI v Brighton

West Ham travel to Brighton on Sunday afternoon [May 22] for their last Premier League game of what has been a brilliant season.

Despite having secured European via the Europa Conference League for next season, the Hammers have their targets firmly set on sixth place and another go at the Europa League next campaign.

David Moyes’ side will look to usurp Manchester United in sixth who travel to Crystal Palace with anything other than a win for the Red Devils enough to see the Irons finish above them.

That is of course if they win their clash against the Seagulls which makes it imperative that David Moyes picks his best XI.

For the last time, this season – in-between the sticks will be Lukasz Fabianski who will have his sights set on finishing the season with a clean sheet.

Youngster Ben Johnson comes in for Vladimir Coufal who will be handed a much-needed rest after non-stop playing since returning from injury.

At the heart of defence will be Craig Dawson [right] partnered with Kurt Zouma [left] with them being the only fit senior centre-backs available.

Aaron Cresswell holds his place down at left-back and will be hoping to play a part in getting the Hammers back into the Europa League having played a crucial role in their semi-final loss to Eintracht Frankfurt after being sent off.

Veteran Mark Noble comes in alongside Declan Rice in the midfield. Not only because it is his last game but the skipper has been instrumental in possession in recent weeks and that will be needed against a very good Graham Potter side.

As expected, Jarrod Bowen keeps his place on the right-wing after his brilliant brace against Manchester City last time out.

Manuel Lanzini will hold down the attacking midfield role with Pablo Fornals also backed to go again on the left-wing.

Upfront, Michail Antonio will draw to a close an extremely difficult season with the 32-year-old leading the Irons’ line individually all season and doing a fantastic job of it.

In other West Ham news, Martin Samuel has responded to the latest West Ham London Stadium developments dubbing it the “deal of the century”.
