West Ham have been handed the perfect opportunity to replace David Moyes with Thomas Tuchel, who is set to lose his job at the end of the season, as Bayern Munich announced.

The German champions announced via their official website on 21 February that they will end their working relationship with the boss in the summer.

Tuchel being let go in the summer lines up perfectly with what now looks likely to be the end of Moyes' stay at the London Stadium, with all the pieces seemingly falling into place.

The Express [21 February] named the Bayern boss as the "dream" appointment at the London Stadium.

Could Thomas Tuchel replace David Moyes at West Ham?

It was recently reported that the former Chelsea boss, who won the Champions League during his spell in West London, could be persuaded to replace Moyes at the London Stadium.

Pressure continues to mount on the managerial position at the London Stadium, with the Hammers having not won a game this calendar year, after conceding 11 and scoring none in their last three games.

A 6-0 defeat to Arsenal saw the board decide to delay any contract negotiations with Moyes amid pressure from the fans who are unhappy with results and with the style of play.

It has also been said that some players in the West Ham dressing room have grown frustrated with the manager, adding yet more fuel to the fire.

David Moyes has found himself under increasing pressure at West Ham United.

Given these developments, it feels more and more likely that Moyes will be let go at the end of the season when his contract expires, in a very similar situation to Tuchel.

With the Bayern boss now added to the list of potential candidates, which also reportedly includes Graham Potter, Steve Cooper and Julen Lopetegui, the Hammers should do all they can to land such an impressive name.
