‘Steidten commits sackable offence’ as West Ham disrespect continues

Tim Steidten has continued to show complete disrespect to West Ham.

The technical director at the London Stadium has come under heavy scrutiny after a poor summer transfer window under Julen Lopetegui.

This has caused chairman David Sullivan to be angry which could ultimately see the German be axed in the coming weeks or months.

With the potential incoming of Kyle Macaulay, Steidten could be on his way out anyway but that doesn’t excuse another sign of total disrespect.

Tim Steidten continues West Ham disrespect

The former Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen employee is said to be on the brink of facing the sack which has seen him offer himself to other clubs [talkSPORT].

Given the failures of his work since coming in at East London this is a bold strategy that won’t reflect well on him moving forward.

It is clear that Graham Potter doesn’t have great trust in the German which has seen the new head coach move to bring his trusted analyst in.

No matter what is going on in E20, Steidten is employed by the Hammers and should be showing the appropriate level of respect while he is in the job.

If he continues to search for a new role while remaining with the Irons, Sullivan needs to pull the sack trigger and move the sporting director on.

After causing controversy under Lopetegui and David Moyes, there is unlikely to be much resistance to this decision among players or supporters.

In other West Ham news, injury risk is likely to be high as a deal for Marcus Rashford is being eyed.
