Lopetegui has to unleash Summerville to save his job amid West Ham sack talk
Utilising Crysencio Summerville could be the key to Julen Lopetegui keeping his job at West Ham after a dismal start to the season.
West Ham sit miserably in 15th in the Premier League table having recorded just two wins in their opening eight games and performance levels have been in stark contrast to those of last campaign.
Life under Lopetegui certainly hasn’t gone to plan for the club or for Summerville who has found his game time severely limited despite the Hammers’ poor form.
Several West Ham players have been far below the standards expected of them and the time for Summerville to have his impact is surely imminent.
West Ham need to utilise Crysencio Summerville
The Dutchman was arguably one of if not the, best players in the Championship last season and his arrival at the London Stadium was met with plenty of excitement and intrigue. Rightfully so.

A tricky winger capable of delivering in the final third, Summerville is a huge threat offensively and it is remarkable that he has been so underused with Lopetegui’s side demonstrating their woes going forward.
Summerville has played just 170 minutes of Premier League action so far this season, starting just one game, according to FotMob.
It’s important to remember that the Hammers reportedly paid in excess of £25 million for the forward which isn’t a small fee. With that said, it is certainly going to waste at the moment.
The suspension for Mohamed Kudus may force Lopetegui’s hand when it comes to unleashing Summerville and it may be a blessing in disguise as the former Leeds winger looks to stamp his authority on Premier League football.
In other West Ham news, Tom Rennie is not shocked to see reports of question marks being raised over Tim Steidten’s decision to bring Niclas Fullkrug to West Ham.
