Fullkrug moves step closer to West Ham United exit after Man City transfer news
West Ham United may be powerless to prevent Niclas Fullkrug from leaving in January.
The German international is laying the groundwork ahead of a potential departure from East London this month and has since emerged as a genuine transfer target for Eintracht Frankfurt [Florian Plettenberg].
However, the Bundesliga outfit will only move for Fullkrug should star striker Omar Marmoush complete a blockbuster move to Manchester City.
Now, the dominos are beginning to fall into place after Ben Jacobs reported on Saturday (11 January) that talks regarding a fee for Marmoush are underway after Manchester City agreed personal terms with the player.
Fullkrug may not be a West Ham United player when the transfer window slams shut on 3 February.

New Hammers boss Graham Potter is eager to continue with Fullkrug leading the frontline at the London Stadium [TEAMtalk].
It is a wise decision from the 49-year-old, considering he will be missing Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen for the foreseeable future.

Furthermore, Laborde is not the only forward of interest this month, with the Hammers joining Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea in the race for 19-year-old Sporting CP sensation Conrad Harder [TBR Football].
A perfect blend of experience and youth is precisely what Potter needs to kickstart a new era in East London, and should Eintracht Frankfurt come knocking for Fullkrug, the answer should be a resounding ‘yes, please’.
