David Sullivan to take action on West Ham United leaks amid ‘troubling noises’
David Sullivan will be baffled by how many stories are leaking out of the London Stadium as West Ham continue to falter on the pitch.
It is no secret that Julen Lopetegui is feeling the pressure in East London, with the Hammers only claiming 12 points from their first 11 league games, leaving them five points above the relegation zone.
But, with the Spaniard needing to turn things around after so much fallout from David Moyes’ departure during the summer, the outside noise is doing absolutely nothing to help.
Of course, Sullivan is likely regretting his decision to bring Lopetegui into the club but that information should not be on show for all the fans to see. That can only end badly for all parties.
However, with The Guardian reporting [20 November] that the Hammers have held internal talks over the manager, and Edin Terzic being targeted as a replacement, someone is obviously spreading information.
David Sullivan must find West Ham United mole as leaks emerge
Writing via The Athletic [22 November], Seb Stafford-Bloor said: “There are some troubling noises around West Ham already. Neither the results nor the performances have been good under Lopetegui, but it was alarming how quickly stories of discontent started leaking out of the club this season.”
There were talks over Lopetegui already being sacked after the back-to-back losses to Chelsea and Liverpool, having only scored once and conceded eight in those two games combined.

Reports like those are only going to put pressure on Sullivan to make a knee-jerk decision, and at this point in the season, that could be detrimental to the Hammers’ safety in the Premier League.
The Spaniard seemingly has two matches to save his job, with Newcastle United and Arsenal coming up next, but the fact that every fan already knows this will be doing absolutely nothing to help anyone at West Ham.
In other West Ham news, Tim Steidten’s transfer failures have been targeted once again as a new summer revelation emerges.
