Danny Ings ‘West Ham exit on the cards’ after ‘Here We Go’ from Fabrizio Romano

Danny Ings could finally be set to end his dismal spell at West Ham.

The ex-England international joined the Hammers in January 2023 from Aston Villa but has failed to have the desired impact in East London.

This has seen him score just five goals in over 65 appearances with Graham Potter opting against starting him in recent weeks despite injuries to Niclas Fullkrug and Michail Antonio.

With that being said, the 32-year-old may have been handed the perfect opportunity to depart the London Stadium before the winter window ends.

Danny Ings could leave West Ham after Fabrizio Romano update

The Hammers have been in desperate need of a striker option since the former Brighton head coach came in and replaced Julen Lopetegui.

Now the Englishman finally appears to have gotten his wish in E20 with Evan Ferguson set to undergo his medical before joining on loan.

Fabrizio Romano has given the deal his trademark “Here we go!” stamp (2 February) which points towards the deal being on the verge of completion.

As excited as this has got the Irons faithful, it could ultimately represent the end of the road for Ings who looks set to fall even further down the pecking order in East London.

This could see him look to find a route out of the London Stadium before the end of the window, although there is very limited time for him to do so.

The ex-Southampton man will have to work quickly to help push a deal over the line as Ferguson looks likely to replace him in the side under Potter.
