Besiktas open to selling West Ham target Cyle Larin

West Ham could land complete striker Cyle Larin in the summer and he would add a new dimension to the Hammers attack.

According to Fotomac, Besiktas are willing to sell the forward if they receive a reasonable offer.

And West Ham were linked with a move for Larin at the beginning of April, along with Everton [Fotomac].

The 26-year-old has a little more than a year remaining on his contract, which could be the motivation behind wanting to sell, but his value is believed to have risen.

According to the report, Larin was priced at €4million [£3.4million], but that figure has now increased to €9million [£7.7million].

That means he could be a bargain by, particularly in comparison to other attacking targets.

Odsonne Edouard [AS Roma Live] and Youssef En-Nesyri [La Razon] have been linked in recent days, but Larin could be an ideal alternative option.

If David Moyes is serious about bringing in Larin then now is the ideal time to swoop for the Canadian.

At £7.7million he would be the cheaper option but his goalscoring record indicates he could be a success in East London.

A career total of 80 goals in 187 games is not to be sniffed at, with 18 of those coming in Turkey this year.

He has the attributes to lead the line in a similar vein to Michail Antonio too.

While in MLS, Larin picked up the nickname of ‘Silent Giant’ [The Guardian] and an MLS scout believes he has several positive attributes.

He told American Soccer Now of Larin, “He’s just a cut above the rest”

“He’s got all the physical attributes you want—strength, size, speed—but he’s also got good feet for a big guy, he’s strong in the air, and he finishes very well.”

There is a lot to look forward to if the pacy forward joins, and though Larin may be an unknown quantity he seems capable of surprising a few in the Premier League.

In other West Ham news, Irons want to sign a ‘sensational’ Euro-leading ace to replace a David Moyes mainstay.
