West Ham must make ‘substantial offer’ for Leeds to entertain Raphinha deal – report
West Ham must make a ‘substantial offer’ for Leeds to even entertain their interest in winger Raphinha this month, according to journalist Toby Cudworth.
The Hammers have made their interest in the Brazil winger known to Leeds and while they aren’t interested in selling it’s believed that a big offer could change their mind.
Raphinha is happy at Leeds, but according to 90min the draw of London and European football could tempt him to make the move.
But according to journalist Toby Cudworth, it would take a ‘substantial offer’ for Leeds to entertain any kind of deal but they are aware of West Ham’s interest.
Raphinha was linked with a £42m move to Bayern Munich at the start of the month, but a deal never materialised and they instead renewed the contract of Kingsley Coman.
Huge
West Ham are well known to be in the market for an attacker to help ease the load on Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen this month, but Raphinha is not someone that was expected to be on the list.
But why not? He’s a star, has bags of potential to unlock still at 25-years-old, has a brilliant eye for goal and is Premier League proven.

He would provide a brilliant wing option, with Bowen capable of playing on either wing, although both players would prefer to play on the right to cut in on their left foot.
Moyes has money to spend if the right players is there, and while it would take a ‘substantial’ offer to make the move happen there is no doubt that the Brazilian would be worth it.
Dramatic? Yes. Worthwhile? Absolutely. If there’s even a tiny chance of getting this over the line, West Ham should throw all they can at it.
